How BankTalky works

Independent rankings, direct application, full disclosure. Here's the four-step path from search to apply.

1

Search what you need

Pick a category — personal loan, credit card, health insurance, term insurance, car insurance, or savings account. Each comparison page covers 6–9 top products in that category.

2

Compare on what matters

Each page ranks products on the metrics that actually matter: interest rate, fees, claim ratio, cashless network, restoration, NCB. No fluff. No filler ads. Just the data.

3

Apply directly

Click apply and you land on the partner's own portal. KYC, income proof, and approval happens on their site. BankTalky never sees your documents.

4

We earn — without bias

If you get approved, the partner pays us a commission. This is fully disclosed on every page. The commission has zero influence on rank — it's based purely on rate, fee, and feature value.

Frequently asked questions

Is BankTalky free to use?

Yes — 100% free for users. We earn an affiliate commission from partner banks/insurers when you apply through our links. This is fully disclosed on every page and never affects ranking.

Are the rates and premiums real-time?

Rates and premiums are reviewed monthly. We mark each comparison with a 'Last updated' timestamp. The final rate quoted by the lender or insurer is always the source of truth — verify on their portal before applying.

Does BankTalky handle the loan or insurance application?

No. BankTalky is a comparison platform only. When you click apply, you go directly to the bank or insurer's portal where you complete KYC and the application. We never see your documents or personal data.

Which lenders, card issuers, and insurers do you compare?

We compare 30+ products across HDFC, ICICI, SBI, Axis, Bajaj, Tata, IDFC FIRST, AU Small Finance Bank, Niva Bupa, HDFC ERGO, Star Health, Care, Acko, Tata AIG, Max Life, Tata AIA, ICICI Prudential, LIC, and more. New partners are added based on relevance, not commission.

Are sponsored placements clearly marked?

Yes. When a bank or insurer pays for top-of-page placement on a category, the slot is labelled 'Sponsored' and the underlying ranking (rates, fees, claim ratio) remains visible alongside the rest of the comparison. We don't hide it.
