Affiliate disclosure

BankTalky is a free comparison platform for Indian financial products. We earn an affiliate commission when you apply for a product via our "Apply" links and the partner bank or insurer approves your application. The commission is paid by the partner — not by you — and never costs you extra.

Typical commission structure:

  • Personal loans: ₹500 – ₹2,000 per disbursed loan
  • Credit cards: ₹600 – ₹2,500 per approved + activated card
  • Health/term/car insurance: 5 – 15% of first-year premium, paid once
  • Savings account: ₹200 – ₹400 per opened + funded account

Comparison rankings on BankTalky come from independent analysisof interest rates, fees, claim ratios, restoration benefit, network size, and feature value — not from affiliate payout. Sponsored top-of-page placement, when used, is clearly labelled "Sponsored" and does not affect the rest of the rankings shown below.

Refund policy

BankTalky doesn't charge users anything. There is no subscription, no transaction fee, no "premium" tier. Therefore there is nothing to refund from BankTalky's side.

If you applied for a financial product through a partner linked from BankTalky and want a refund or cancellation, please follow the partner's own policy:

  • Loans: Most lenders allow foreclosure with a 2–5% fee on outstanding principal during the lock-in period. After lock-in, foreclosure is often free.
  • Credit cards:Within the "free look" period (typically 15–30 days from card issuance), you can cancel a card and recover the joining fee. Verify the timeline in your card's MITC.
  • Insurance: IRDAI mandates a 15-day (offline) / 30-day (online) free-look period for life and health insurance. Full premium minus stamp duty + medical exam cost is refundable.
  • Savings accounts: Most banks allow closure within 14 days with no charges; after that a closure fee (₹500–1,000 for premium accounts) may apply.

BankTalky has no involvement in the application, KYC, or post-purchase servicing of partner products. For refund disputes, contact the partner directly. Escalation channels:
